Derbyshire County Council are asking residents and businesses to take part in their broadband survey.  The survey only takes a few minutes to complete and everyone that takes part has the chance to enter a prize draw to win £50.  By taking part in the survey you may also ultimately help to improve the broadband speed in your area.

Derbyshire Council Council has been allocated £7.39 million from the Broadband Delivery UK scheme to improve broadband access, but the Council needs to find the same amount in match funding in order to receive the money.

Over 4,800 people and businesses have already taken part in the survey but the Council still needs more responses. The more people that take part then the more chance the Council will have of getting the money.

Broadband speeds around the Ashbourne area are not good, so anything we can do to improve the situation will be welcomed by many people.
